The results of the competition for the development of a new KRSU logo have been summed up: the winners and finalists have been selected
KRSU summed up the results of the competition to create a new university logo, organized jointly with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Of the dozens of presented concepts, four works reached the finals — one from students of KRSU and three from students of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Presentations of the final projects took place in Bishkek, at the KRSU site.
According to the jury's decision, the first two places were awarded to Polytechnic students:
– Anna Panina, whose work with the stylistic use of arrows was unanimously recognized as the best;
–and Alexandra Kozlova, who presented a concept with an infinity sign, symbolizing the continuous development and connection of the two cultures of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Second place was shared by Polytechnic student Maria Dracheva and KRSU student Abdusalikh Ibragimov, who proposed strong, original solutions that reflect the mission of the university.
The project was a step towards strengthening educational integration, in particular between the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction Technologies (FADIS) KRSU and the Higher School of Design and Architecture of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Tatyana Diodorova, associate professor at the Higher School of Architecture and Design of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, commented on the results of the competition:
«We are glad that the students approached the assignment not just creatively, but also with deep meaning. The works reflected both the spirit of the times and the values of the university community. It is important for us that the project has become not just a design competition, but part of a real educational dialogue between our universities. Such initiatives create an environment of trust and co-creation between universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan».
