The results of the literary quiz for schoolchildren have been summed up «F.M. Dostoevsky: life and work»
On October 20, on the eve of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great humanist writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, a literary quiz took place online «F.M. Dostoevsky: life and creativity» among 11th grade students of secondary schools with Kyrgyz and Russian languages of instruction. The quiz took place as part of the Youth Educational Festival, organized by the Institute of Russian Language of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin with the support of the State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin (g. Moscow).
More than 40 students representing 14 schools took part in the intellectual competition. Bishkek, Osh, Naryn, Shopokov, Tash-Kumyr, Kadamzhai, village. Barskoon, Issyk-Kul region, village. Almaluu, Chui region.
Schoolchildren were offered 40 tasks on knowledge of the writer’s biography and work, and 90 minutes were allotted for their completion. Future graduates demonstrated high erudition in the literature course and mastery of the norms of the Russian literary language. The quiz participants successfully coped not only with issues of increased difficulty in the field of literary criticism and the history of Russian literature, but were also able to express their own opinion about the relevance of F.M.’s work. Dostoevsky.
In their works, the guys noted that the themes raised by the great classic at the end XIX centuries, such as the priority of moral law, the value of life, the preservation of the spiritual space of the individual from degradation and many others, deeply concern modern readers. All contestants are confident that they will turn to Dostoevsky’s works more than once in the future.

– 2nd degree diploma: Aidana Narbekova (Secondary School named after O. Bolebalaev, p. Almaluu, Chui Province)
– 3rd degree diploma: Meerim Orozbekova (Secondary School named after Kazybay Chylabaev, p. Barskoon, Issyk-Kul region).
Among the students of schools with Russian as the language of instruction are
– 1st degree diploma: Elisa Koenig (secondary school KRSU, Bishkek)
– 2nd degree diploma: Kaliya Kerimalieva (ShG № 24 named after Aaly Tokombaev, Bishkek)
– 3rd degree diploma: Nigora Baimatova (SSG № 2 named after V.P. Chkalova, Naryn).
Congratulations to the quiz winners and thanks to all participants for their good training! Electronic certificates will be sent to participants' personal addresses during November. The quiz winners will be awarded in early December 2021.
