KRSU Board of Trustees: Andrey Rudskoy

We continue to introduce members of the KRSU Board of Trustees!Today we present Andrei Ivanovich Rudsky — Rector of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Andrey Ivanovich — a famous scientist and leader, whose professional activities are inextricably linked with the development of higher education and science. He graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, studied at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, and defended his doctoral dissertation. In 2008 he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and in 2016 — an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From 2003 to 2011, Andrei Ivanovich served as vice-rector for scientific work at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Since May 2011, he has headed the university, consistently developing it as one of the leading scientific and educational centers in Russia and the world. Andrey Ivanovich’s participation in the KRSU Board of Trustees helps strengthen academic partnerships, develop scientific cooperation and expand educational opportunities for students and teachers.
