Board of Trustees of KRSU: Nurlan Akmatov

The Board of Trustees of KRSU includes 16 authoritative representatives of Russia and Kyrgyzstan - leaders in the field of education, science, civil service and big business. Today we introduce you to one of them — Nurlan Orozbaevich Akmatov. Since April 2020, Nurlan Orozbaevich has headed the representative office of the Eurasian Development Bank in the Kyrgyz Republic. His professional path includes work in key positions in the economy and infrastructure: from an ordinary customs officer to the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Head «Gazprom Neft Asia», Chairman of the Board of OJSC «International Airport «Manas»», as well as a member of the Board (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission for Customs Regulation. It is currently engaged, within the EDB, in supporting investment projects, promoting sustainable economic development and strengthening regional cooperation. Nurlan Orozbaevich's participation in the Board of Trustees of KRSU contributes to closer interaction between the university and development institutions and helps orient educational programs to the real needs of economics and practice.
