«They made some noise» in Novosibirsk!
A team of students from the SNO Department of Anatomy and OKhTA, together with teachers from the same department, took part in the I International Forum of Students and Young Scientists «Morphology and Surgery» (Novosibirsk).
7 December KRSU « teamNaVi»composed of Firuza Israilova, Anastasia Tankova, Sirozhidin Abdullaev and Esmira Bakhshalieva, she began work at the forum with the Surgery Olympiad. In total, more than 180 students were involved in the competition. On the first day of the Olympiad, students performed an intestinal anastomosis on an experimental animal – rabbit (all survived). The remaining surgical interventions in the field of abdominal, cardiovascular, colorectal, plastic, and microsurgery were performed on materials of animal origin. Teachers of the Department of Anatomy and OKHTA KRSU, Associate Professor A. Beisembaev and Senior Lecturer A. Gabaidulin acted as experts and jury members.
On December 8, the VII International Morphological Conference «Morphological Sciences – the fundamental basis of medicine» took place. KRSU students took part in the section «Human Anatomy». The report of KRSU representative F. Israilova «Morphological changes of lymph nodes when using a gold nanopreparation» (co-authors E. Bakhshalieva, S. Abdullaev, A. Tankova and O. Mukhamedaliev) was awarded a diploma II degrees.
On December 9, the VI International Student Olympiad in Morphology was held, dedicated to the memory of Professor Yu. Sklyanov. The theoretical part of the program was aimed at testing knowledge in anatomy, histology and history of morphological disciplines. In the practical part, the Olympiad participants dealt with anatomical preparations, using terms and names of structures in Latin. In the histology competition, students studied the drugs under a microscope and determined their distinctive features. According to the results of the Olympiad, the KRSU team took 3rd place.
On December 10, the second stage of the V International Student Olympiad in Surgery completed the forum. The KRSU team took part in the following competitions: «Knowledge of surgical instruments», «Knitting surgical knots», «Theoretical competition», «Creative competition». According to the results of the last competition, our team took 3rd place in the overall international standings.
