Representatives of the program «Studentourism» of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science visited KRSU
As part of the International School of Student Tourism KRSU, the head of the youth and student tourism program «Studentourism» of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Svetlana Nekhorosheva and the head of the department of international youth cooperation and tourism of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Konstantin Malyshev visited.Stanislav Kulikov, Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy of KRSU, gave a tour of the university. He introduced the guests to the key areas of development of the university, spoke about large-scale modernization of infrastructure, renovation of educational spaces and new opportunities that are being created for students today.Special attention was paid to the project of the new campus KRSU. The guests were presented with a model of the future university campus, told about the concept of the project and plans to create modern educational, scientific, sports and social infrastructure.As part of the visit, Svetlana Nekhorosheva and Konstantin Malyshev also visited the secondary school KRSU, where they got acquainted with the educational spaces and conditions for schoolchildren that had been updated after a major overhaul.The guests also visited the Historical and Archaeological Museum KRSU, where they got acquainted with its collection and main areas of work. Today, the museum's holdings include more than 2,000 unique artifacts of the ancient and medieval history of Kyrgyzstan, including rare archaeological finds from the Turkic period.The meeting was a continuation of the International School «Studentourism» program, which takes place at the UOC «Zhashtyk» and brings together 16 students from Russian universities and 30 students from universities in the Kyrgyz Republic. For KRSU, the development of student tourism is becoming one of the new study programs youth policies, combining educational travel, international exchanges and introducing students of the two countries to each other’s culture and traditions.
