KRSU teacher won the marathon «Healthy nation – prosperous country»

On October 23, the International Charity Marathon «Healthy Nation – Prosperous Country» was held in Bishkek. Both professional athletes and amateur runners of different ages, including children, took to the start line.

Every year, over 3 thousand people from more than 30 countries take part in the international marathon. Runners over 16 years of age can choose the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km. Children from 3 years old can take part in a special children's race.

The goal of the international marathon «MBulak Kuz Demi» – popularization of an active lifestyle. This year's race route ran on a section of the Bishkek – Airport «Manas» highway. Start and finish point –Memorial complex «Asuka-Tash».

It is gratifying to note that teachers from KRSU took part in the marathon. Thus, the representative of the Department of Pediatrics KRSU Gulnara Dzhanabilova took first place in her age category.

Marathon participants raised funds that will be used for charitable purposes – to support women affected by «abuse syndrome».
