From November 22 to 26, teachers of the Institute of Continuing Education of the Siberian Federal University, on the basis of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, conducted advanced training courses in 36-hour programs: «Active and interactive methods: training technologies in higher education» and «Facilitation as a method of interactive learning: new role of the teacher».

The programs are focused on acquiring skills for students in the use of interactive and active teaching methods to organize educational and scientific activities, as well as transforming existing ones and obtaining new professional competencies necessary to solve professional problems in a digital environment.

More than 80 teachers took part in the training, including 15 people from other educational organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Based on the results of the training, students will receive certificates of the established Russian standard for advanced training.

Director of REC «Institute of Continuing Education» Elena Moshkina:

<TAG1> For the second year, we have been training teachers at Slavic universities in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan – we exchange experiences with colleagues, share the best educational practices developed at the Siberian Federal University. In 2022, the training is aimed primarily at mastering the latest interactive teaching methods. We will work out ways to moderate discussion, engage in active learning, as well as effective group discussion of ideas and ways to increase motivation in distance learning settings. In 2021, the project trained about 300 teachers in our programs, and we are still in touch with many of them. I am sure that the exchange of pedagogical ideas, undertakings, and methods is no less important than the development of economic and cultural ties with such respected partners as the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan.
