Prize for media coverage of scientific activities at KRSU

The journalistic work of KRSU Vice-Rector Leonid Sumarokov was included in the short list of winners of the First International Competition for the best media coverage of the university’s scientific activities in the field of altaistics and Turkology «Media-Nauruz». This decision was made by the International Expert Jury of the Competition held within the framework of the project «Turkic World of Greater Altai: unity and diversity in history and modernity» of Altai State University.

In addition to Sumarokov’s article «Unfinished Linguistic Symphony by Evgeniy Polivanov», published on the portal «Rhythm of Eurasia», the short list of winners included the following works:
– «Anniversary of Zhambyl – general holiday for Turkic peoples», Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi;
– «It all started with Genghis Khan», Altai State University;
– «Koldogү komuskө shaar /Bayyrkynyn muzheri /City at the bottom of Issyk-Kul», National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic, channel «Madaniyat» («Culture»).

The winners will be awarded within the framework of the V International Educational Forum «Altai-Asia 2022: Eurasian educational space – new challenges and best practices», which will be held from September 15-17, 2022 (Russia, Altai Territory, Belokurikha).
