Professor KRSU – expert of the master's program of the REC «Greater Altai»
Gulmira Dzhunushalieva, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B.N. Yeltsin became an expert in the master's program «Social Security of the Greater Altai Media Space», developed by the Center for Altaic and Turkology «Greater Altai».
According to the educational program of the direction 04/42/01 Advertising and public relations, profile «Social security of the media space of Greater Altai», 14 people will study at Altai State University: nine students from Kyrgyzstan, one from Tajikistan, one from Kazakhstan and three from Russia. The program is aimed at training highly qualified, competitive Russian and foreign specialists with the necessary competencies for successful practical activities in the field of design, management and ensuring social security of communication processes in the international media space. As part of the implementation of this educational program, Gulmira Dzhunushalieva developed a discipline «Social security of communication processes», within the framework of which undergraduates will become familiar with the main trends in the development of public and state institutions, technologies for ensuring the social security of media products and criteria for their assessment, methods for adjusting strategies and programs for promoting media products, will learn to assess the compliance of media products with social security criteria and create their own media texts, strategies and promotion programs in accordance with social security criteria.
There are «five international master's programs developed under the auspices of » Greater Altai–. They cover natural science, socio-economic and humanitarian profiles and were developed jointly by scientists from Altai State University, leading universities in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. 95 master's students will study at Altai State University in these programs, 75 of them – from Asian and African countries.
According to the President of Altai State University, head of the REC of Altaistics and Turkology «Greater Altai» Sergei Zemlyukov, master's programs developed under the auspices of «Greater Altai» are unique.
«They, – the scientist comments, – take into account intercultural specifics, at their core – a comprehensive and multifaceted study of Central Asia, therefore, after completing their studies, graduates will become in demand specialists not only in Russia, but also in the global labor market».

The REC of Altaistics and Turkology «Greater Altai» has 11 international project groups uniting about 100 scientists from partner universities. 5 groups are focused on scientific research activities, 6 – on the implementation of joint master's and additional education programs. In 2021, the first intake of master's students was carried out.
