Breakthrough in education: KRSU and SPbPU on the way to new horizons
As part of the Days of Scientific, Youth and International Cooperation at KRSU, an important meeting was held with a delegation from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU). This event was a key step in the development of education and science in the two countries.
The vice-rector of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Maria Vrublevskaya, made a presentation of her university’s development program, focused on the future. The purpose of the event was to determine specific tasks and mechanisms for achieving them. In her speech, Vrublevskaya emphasized the importance of synchronizing capabilities and tasks, as well as the need for clear planning and allocation of resources to achieve set goals.
One of the key development study programs discussed is the modernization of KRSU according to the University 4.0 format. This approach involves not only education and science, but also active involvement in the entrepreneurial activity and social mission of the university. The vice-rector of SPbPU gave examples of the successful implementation of this concept at her university.
However, the ambitions of KRSU rector Denis Fomin-Nilov are not limited to this. He put forward an even more ambitious goal — transition to the University 5.0 format. As part of this approach, students cease to be just course participants, but become active participants in the educational process, junior partners, ready to bring their ideas and projects to life.
Such a partnership between leading Russian universities promises to become an example of cooperation and innovation in education. This is not just the next step in the development of universities, but a real breakthrough in training personnel and shaping the future of society.
