Pushkin Day at KRSU

On June 6, on the square in front of the main building of KRSU, a festive concert-action took place «I erected a monument to myself that was not made by hands», dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin and Russian Language Day.

Before the start of the gala event, representatives of the Bishkek City Hall, employees and students of KRSU, representatives of the Russian Center for Science and Culture, and schoolchildren of Bishkek laid flowers at the foot of the monument to A.S. Pushkin in front of the main building of our university.

Then the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, deputy head of the Education Department of the Bishkek City Hall Daniyar Abduazizov, acting, addressed the participants of the action and numerous spectators with words of greeting head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkharneev.

The rich program of the concert, prepared by participants in the creative studios of the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity KRSU, included a quiz, a performance by a choreographic group, reading poetic works and romances based on the words of A.S. Pushkin, students performing their own poems.

Also during the holiday, awards were given to participants and winners of international interuniversity events and active participants in the creative studios of the ICTP.
