Workshop with deans and heads of departments of KRSU: Issues of admission of applicants, accreditation and arrears of payment for the contract were discussed
A working meeting was held at KRSU, which brought together deans of faculties and heads of university departments under the leadership of Vice-Rector for Economic and Legal Affairs Irina Ageeva. At the meeting, key issues related to the admission of applicants, university accreditation, as well as current arrears in contract fees were discussed.
During the meeting, the rules for admitting applicants for 2025 were discussed, with an emphasis on introducing new procedures and improving the awareness of applicants. The Vice-Rector emphasized the importance of clarity in the admission process and the need for intensive work with potential students to attract the best applicants.
Also, considerable attention was paid to the issue of university accreditation. Successful accreditation — is not only a prerequisite for ensuring high quality education, but also an important step to maintain KRSU’s reputation in the international arena. In this regard, it was proposed to strengthen the internal processes of the university, including updating educational programs and improving infrastructure.
An important point of discussion was the arrears of payment for the contract. The Vice-Rector emphasized the need for more active work with students with debts in order to speed up the resolution of this issue. Measures were proposed to inform students and their parents about the possible consequences of late payment, and ways to improve interaction with the university's financial services were discussed.
Deans and heads of departments supported the proposed initiatives and expressed their readiness to actively work to solve all assigned tasks. In particular, it was decided to strengthen work with applicants, as well as develop a clear plan for working with student debt.
«We must work with every student and applicant, ensuring transparency of the process and creating comfortable conditions for learning. I am confident that all the proposed measures will help us reach a new level in the educational sphere», — Ageeva noted.
