Development of the strategic partnership between KRSU and SPbPU: visit of the delegation and meetings within the framework of the Cooperation Roadmap
From June 30 to July 2, 2025, as part of the implementation of the Roadmap for cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), a visit of the SPbPU delegation to Kyrgyzstan took place.
The main focus of the three-day program was on the prospects for joint scientific research and integrated development of the High-Mountain Observatory of the Physics of Atmospheric Processes KRSU — a unique research facility in Central Asia.
On July 1, representatives of the two universities visited the Educational and Health Complex «Zhashtyk», where they discussed the possibilities of conducting scientific work on the site, as well as the prospects for organizing student internships and scientific internships.
On July 2, the SPbPU delegation, together with representatives of KRSU, visited the Scientific Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek, where the parties discussed approaches to the implementation of interdisciplinary research in the field of geophysics, ecology, climatology and applied physics.
An important stage of the visit was the strategic meetings held in the main building of KRSU. During the discussions, the parties considered issues related to the implementation of joint scientific projects, the development of cooperation between research groups of the two universities, as well as practical aspects of interaction with industrial partners.
A separate meeting was devoted to interaction with the LLC «Alliance Altyn» company, during which issues of concluding contracts for R&D were discussed, as well as the involvement of students and young scientists of KRSU in applied development and industrial projects.
The visit of the SPbPU delegation became an important stage in strengthening the partnership between the two universities. Joint efforts are aimed at creating a sustainable scientific and educational platform, developing research infrastructure, technology transfer and introducing innovative solutions that are relevant for the entire Central Asian region.
