The rector of KRSU congratulated the winning students of the international competition
The rector of KRSU met with students of the journalism department who won the international MediaDrive competition. Activists of the group "41-45" submitted two documentaries to the competition: "To Remember" and "Children of War". Both films were highly praised by the jury and took prizes in their categories.
The documentary film "To Remember," dedicated to the heroes of Kyrgyzstan, won in the "Sons of the Fatherland" category. To create this film, the students did a great job: they researched archival materials, visited museums and met with the descendants of the heroes in order to collect the most accurate and touching evidence about those times. As a result of their efforts, the film was ranked first among the 90 projects presented.
The group's second project, the film "Children of War", won second place in the "Special Report" category. This film was also praised for its deep and emotional approach to the theme.
The rector congratulated the students on their achievements, noting their hard work and talent. He emphasized that such successes are not only a personal victory for students, but also the pride of the entire university. At the end of the meeting, the rector wished the activists of the "41-45" group further creative success and expressed confidence that they still have many victories ahead.
The 41-45 group plans to create a new documentary film dedicated to the friendship between Leningrad and Kyrgyzstan, which promises to become another significant project in their creative activities.
