Rector of KRSU takes part in the III Forum of Non-State Education

Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov takes part in the III Forum of Non-State Education, within the framework of which a meeting of the Expert Council on Education and Youth Policy is being held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Boris Chernyshov.The agenda of the meeting includes — discussion of the Education Development Strategy until 2036, issues of international cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as the role of universities in the formation of human and intellectual potential of the regions. Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Rosmolodezh, heads of educational organizations and industry experts are participating in the discussion.During his speech, Sergey Volkov presented the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University as the first Slavic university and outlined the key results of the transformation implemented in 2025. The university has moved from a model of mass graduation to philosophy «quality over quantity», focusing on practice-oriented and industrially related education.A new educational architecture has been introduced into the educational process «4 = 3 + 2 + 1», within the framework of which, over four years of study, a student receives three educational documents, masters two specialties and undergoes one year of internship and project work in partner companies. In parallel, a continuous educational vertical has been formed: from the preschool level to additional vocational education programs.The forum also includes a number of working meetings and thematic sessions with the participation of university leaders, representatives of federal and regional authorities, professional and public associations. Discussions cover the development of regional education systems, entrepreneurship in universities, digital transformation, educational work and the international educational agenda.
