On August 30, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov opened a new school building named after Nyshanbai Alykulov in the Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, representatives of government bodies, residents of the region, as well as the Russian delegation led by Igor Maslov, head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries. Among the participants was the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov.
Construction of the school began in 2024. For its construction, the total area of which is 4 hectares, 450 million soms were allocated from the republican budget. The new building provides modern classrooms, sports and assembly halls, a dining room and classrooms, which allows creating comfortable conditions for teaching and raising children.
In his speech, President Sadyr Zhaparov noted that serious changes had begun in the education system:
«We have set a course to change not only the structure, but also the content of education. The world is on a path of continuous change. 150 countries of the world have switched to a 12-year education system, and we have also taken this path», — the Head of State emphasized.
The President also reported on steps being taken to modernize education:
• more than 27 thousand laptops were distributed to teachers as part of digitalization;
• new textbooks in mathematics, science and English have been prepared for the new academic year;
• for the 34th anniversary of independence, 100 social facilities were put into operation, including educational institutions;
• another increase in teachers' salaries is planned.
Separately, he noted that the school cannot alone bear responsibility for educating the future generation:
«Parents must be cultured and educated in order to shape the future of the country together with school», — the President added.
The opening of the school named after Nyshanbai Alykulov was a significant event for the region and another step in the development of the educational system of Kyrgyzstan. KRSU's participation in such events underscores its role as an important partner in strengthening humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
