Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov met with university graduate Marat Kakeev

KRSU focuses on developing interaction with graduates who continue to be part of the university community and contribute to the development of education, economics, science and social life of the country.In this context, a meeting took place between the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the university Marat Kakeev, who today holds the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of OJSC «Bakai Bank».During the meeting, Sergei Volkov introduced the guest to the key areas of development of the university, ongoing infrastructure projects and plans for the construction of a new campus of KRSU. The rector spoke about the modernization of educational buildings, the development of the digital environment, the renovation of sports infrastructure, the work of schools, colleges, clinics and other facilities of the university complex.The parties paid special attention to issues of interaction between the university and graduates and employers. The prospects for conducting guest lectures and practice-oriented classes for students, organizing internships and paid practical training, as well as supporting talented youth were discussed.Among the initiatives discussed during the meeting were — the establishment of personalized scholarships for KRSU students, the implementation of joint educational programs and activities to improve the financial literacy of schoolchildren and students, the development of mentoring programs, as well as promoting the employment of graduates.Separately, issues of supporting student sports were raised. Sergey Volkov spoke about the development of the university’s sports infrastructure and the successes of the KRSU national teams. Marat Kakeev expressed his readiness to consider the possibility of participating in projects aimed at supporting student sports initiatives.During the meeting, the development of the KRSU Alumni Association was paid. Sergey Volkov invited Marat Kakeev to take part in the activities of the Association, which is being created as a platform for consolidating university graduates, supporting educational initiatives and implementing projects aimed at developing KRSU. Marat Kakeev expressed interest in further interaction with the university and support of its strategic initiatives.As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue developing joint projects aimed at developing the educational environment, expanding opportunities for students and strengthening interaction between the university and the professional community of graduates.«It is especially valuable for us when KRSU graduates continue to support the university and are ready to participate in its development.
