Religious studies readings «Interreligious dialogue as a way to prevent radicalization» took place at KRSU
December 21 department philosophy and Religious Studies named after. Academician A. Ch. Kakeeva, together with the Center for Religious Studies, organized and conducted religious studies readings on the topic «Interreligious dialogue as a way to prevent radicalization» for students, undergraduates and graduate students of study programs Philosophy and Religious Studies.
The speakers were religious expert and founder of the Center for Religious Studies (CRI) Aslanova I.Sh. and CRI specialist Temirkhanov R.S. During their speech, the reasons for the radicalization of youth, the narratives of violent extremism in the online environment, the values of today's youth and their positive impact in practice on interreligious dialogue, which can prevent radicalization, were considered.
In conclusion, the head of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies named after. Academician A. Kakeeva Osmonova N.I. proposed turning this event into an annual event, where students, undergraduates and graduate students could speak on current topics and develop religious studies at KRSU.
