Rospatent noted the inventors of KRSU
In 2021, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) registered 8 patents for inventions, the authors of which were inventors of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Another 10 patents were registered by Kyrgyzpatent.
Inventing at the university, which is one of the indicators of scientific activity, covers various fields of science, ranging from the physical processes of mining to medicine. The invention is most actively developed at the Department of Physical Processes of Mining Production (8 patents received) and the Department of Physics and Microelectronics (5 patents received) of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology.
High performance in inventive activity among university scientists was achieved by the head of the educational and design laboratory of mining machines and equipment Sergei Stepanov, the head of the department of dermatovenerology and phthisiology, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mir-Ali Baltabaev, Professor of the Department of Physics and Microelectronics, Doctor of Technical Sciences Ivan Bryakin, leading engineer of the Department physics and microelectronics, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Kamil Moldosanov.
It is noteworthy that the merits of the inventors of KRSU were noted at the international level. For his active inventive activity in 2020, Professor Mir-Ali Baltabaev was awarded the gold medal named after V.I. Blinnikova «For contribution to inventive craft» of the Eurasian Patent Organization. The scientist believes that in order to engage in inventive activity, a certain scientific intuition and instinct are needed.
Sergei Stepanov, who has about 80 inventions to his credit, has a special intuition, confirmed by copyright certificates of the USSR, patents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. The inventor was awarded the Badge of Honor «Inventor of the USSR», the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
