Happy State Language Day, Kyrgyzstan!
Dear friends! Dear colleagues! I warmly and cordially congratulate you on State Language Day!
On September 23, 1989, the Kyrgyz language received the status of the state language. The adoption of the Law «on the state language of the Kyrgyz SSR» gave a powerful impetus to the development of the Kyrgyz language, increasing its prestige, helping to raise national identity, unite society, strengthen unity, a sense of patriotism and love for one’s Fatherland.
Remembering the wise and heartfelt words of Chingiz Aitmatov, who said: «For me, the Kyrgyz language is the most sacred – this is both the Motherland and Mother Earth, where drops of my blood from the cut umbilical cord remained. No matter what height I rise to in this life, I am grateful to the great spirit of my native language for this...»
The Kyrgyz language – is a great gift given to the Kyrgyz people, which allowed them to preserve their history and identity, strengthen their statehood, and confidently move along the path of creation.
Evidence of this – great folk epic «Manas». This outstanding creation, created thanks to the power of the Kyrgyz language, which captures the ancient history, traditions, and spirit of the Kyrgyz people, has become a guarantor of eternity and the development of the Kyrgyz language itself.
It is the duty of Kyrgyzstanis, all people who strive to strengthen peace and cooperation between peoples, to love and develop the Kyrgyz language, because it serves the prosperity of a wonderful country – Kyrgyzstan!

1989-zhyly 23-September Kyrgyz tili mamlekettic til status algan. «Kyrgyz SSRinin mamlekettic tili zhondө» Myizamdyn kabyl alynyshy, Kyrgyz tilinin onugushunө, anyn kadyr-barkyn zhogorulatuuga kubattuu turtku berip, uluttuk an-sezimdi, koomduk birimdikti, patriottuk zhana suyүү sezimin chyndoogo obolgo tuzdu.
Uluu Chyngyz Aitmatov aitkandai – «Men uchun Kyrgyz tili baarynan yiyik, kindigi kesilgen, kan tamchylary kalgan Meken yes, Zher-Ene yes, bul zhashoodo kandai biyiktikke chyksam yes, ene tilimdin uluu ruhuna yraazymyn», degen akylman sozu esimde.
Kyrgyz tili – Kyrgyz eline berilgen uluu belek, anyn tarykhyn zhana өzgochөlugun saktap kaluuga, mamlekettүulugun bekemdөөgө mumkunduk bergen.
