Bringing peoples closer together through the centuries
On March 30, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Alisher Navoi was held in the online service of ISAA Lomonosov Moscow State University. Bringing peoples closer through the centuries», dedicated to the 580th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkic poet and Sufi.
The conference was attended by prominent scientists, government and public figures, students, graduate students of Russia, Great Britain, India, China, France, Germany, Brazil, Sweden, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran and Turkey. They all noted that the invaluable creative heritage of the famous thinker, outstanding statesman and public figure Alisher Navoi has a special role in the history of the development of not only Uzbek, but also world literature.
At the plenary session, a report on the topic: «The wisdom of Alisher Navoi in the context of Greek and Islamic philosophers» was made by KRSU professor Gulmira Dzhunushalieva. In her speech, the head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations noted that given the enormous importance of the works of Alisher Navoi, which reflect national and universal values in the development of world culture, their role in increasing the intellectual potential and spiritual and moral education of the younger generation is great.
At the first session of the conference, associate professor of KRSU Svetlana Jeenbekova made a presentation on the topic: «Sufism of Alisher Navoi in the context of the philosophical views of al-Farabi, Avicenna and Averroes (Ibn Rushda)». The author, on the one hand, drew attention to the historical and philosophical heritage of the Sufi direction of Islam, on the other hand, – philosophically comprehended Islam as a religion.
At the end, the conference participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event for the high level of organization, as well as to other participants – for interesting and meaningful speeches. The best reports will be published in a collection of conference materials, as well as in journals included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission.
