The Russian Language Institute conducts weekly scientific and methodological seminars on the interaction of languages and cultures in Kyrgyzstan, issues of teaching the Russian language in a multilingual and multicultural environment in Kyrgyzstan.
In 2025, a series of seminars are planned that will combine theoretical aspects and practical methods in the field of comparative linguistics, linguistic and cultural studies, and digital technologies in teaching Russian as a non-native language and as a foreign language.
The seminars cover a wide range of topics.
Scientific and methodological seminars are held from January 14, 2025 every Tuesday, start – at 12 o'clock.
The purpose of the seminars: exchange of experience of specialists in the field of language and culture.
The seminar was opened by Prof. M.J. Tagaev scientific message on the topic «Translingual linguoculturology in Kyrgyzstan: theory and practice».
Report by Prof. M. J. Tagaeva is devoted to a promising direction in the science of language – translingual linguoculturology, which is considered as the main integrative line for the study of various semantic relationships between contacting languages and cultures. It focuses on how these connections are reflected in linguistic forms.
