Acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov held a meeting with the staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, where he discussed key issues related to student training, improving learning conditions and plans for the coming year.
Among the priority topics of discussion was the material and technical base of the classrooms. Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of providing modern educational materials and equipment, which will improve the quality of training of specialists and increase the level of the educational process.
Plans for student admissions for 2025 were also discussed. Sergei Volkov noted that the university strives to increase the interest of applicants in natural and technical areas, and also plans to expand educational programs and special disciplines within the framework of educational standards in order to provide graduates with up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Particular attention was paid to the organization of student internships at enterprises. According to Volkov, practical training plays a vital role in the professional development of students. He emphasized the need for close cooperation with university partners and expanding the base for internships.
In addition, the topic of remuneration for faculty employees was discussed. KRSU management intends to work to increase wages, striving to ensure that teachers and employees receive decent remuneration for their work.
