Sergei Volkov met with Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Airat Gatiyatov

At the site of the international economic forum «Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2026» in Kazan, the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov met with the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Airat Gatiyatov.During the meeting, they discussed the development of Russian-Kyrgyz educational cooperation, support for joint initiatives and the implementation of large KRSU projects, including the construction of a new university campus. It is the support and mutual understanding between the ministry and the university that allows us to confidently move forward, implement large-scale ideas and implement projects that until recently seemed impossible.
