Sculptor Viktor Shestopal became Honorary Professor of KRSU

On November 30, at the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, in a solemn atmosphere, the sculptor, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Viktor Arnoldovich Shestopal was awarded the title «Honorary Professor of KRSU» for his great contribution to the development of education and the creation of a scientific architectural school. The rector of the university, academician Vladimir Nifadiev and vice-rector for scientific work, professor Valery Lelevkin presented the laureate with a corresponding ribbon with a distinctive sign.

It was also decided to name one of the departments of the Faculty, Architecture, Design and Construction after Viktor Arnoldovich Shestopal.

Earlier, on November 29, the opening of the museum and the presentation of the works of the famous sculptor took place at FADiS.
