The sun of Russian poetry will rise!
On July 15, a creative evening took place in the conference hall of the main building, which concluded the poetry competition among students of KRSU «The sun of Russian poetry will rise!».
The purpose of the competition, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko and the 15th anniversary of the creation of the newspaper KRSU «Student Review», was to promote, preserve and support the Russian language and culture, attract the interest of young people in poetic culture, art and creativity, providing opportunities for creative self-realization for talented poets.
Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov, Head of the Department of Information and Media Communications Konstantin Kondratenko, member of the Union of Writers of the Kyrgyz Republic, poetess, graduate of KRSU Kristina Ubaidullaeva addressed the event participants with words of greeting.
Among the students there was a game on knowledge of poems by Russian poets – texts that formed the basis of famous musical compositions. Violetta Panteleeva, a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Humanities, completed the tasks best of all. The girl received a special prize – pendant created by the writer, wyerworker Artem Hegai.
The competition jury assessed the selections of participants according to four criteria: stylistic and linguistic literacy, rhythmic harmony of poems, originality, metaphorical nature of the figurative system of works, emotional impact on the reader.
As a result, both nominations of the competition were won by representatives of the Faculty of Humanities: «Literary debut» (writing experience: five years or less) – first-year student Daria Ivanskaya, «Treasured lyre» (writing experience: more than five years) – second-year student Margarita Domanova. The winners received handmade lamps as a gift.
Incentive prizes were awarded to Batyr Koichuev, Inessa Borzikova and Alexandra Malyutina – the children were presented with books from the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic.
People's Poetess of the Kyrgyz Republic, leading specialist of the IRYA KRSU Svetlana Suslova commented on the poems of student Margarita Domanova: «... they beat a living thought, feelings live, the nerve of poetry is felt».
Svetlana Georgievna wished all competition participants creative victories in the future.
At the end of the creative evening, the children read their own poems to the audience.
