KRSU employees present a project for an ethno-festival «Cultural Bridge» in Moscow
Representatives of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University – Head of the Department of International Relations Yulia Kalyuzhnaya and Director of the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity Galina Ketova – as part of the team «Time of the Best» will present the project «Ethno-Festival of the Peoples of Russia in Kyrgyzstan “Cultural Bridge”» during the in-person stage of the Project Accelerator for young compatriots abroad. The event will take place from August 25 to 30 in Moscow.
Among the creators of the project «Cultural bridge» also: chairman of the Council of Young Russian Compatriots of Kyrgyzstan Anastasia Shevchenko, Chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots of Kyrgyzstan Olga Frolova, member of the Presidium of the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, President of the Russian Cultural Center «Harmony» Yulia Korobova, head of the youth initiative movement «Ministry of Foreign Affairs» Alexander Nagavitsin, head of the youth movement «Literary youth» Yulia Shklyarskaya, head of the news agency «Dostuk.media» Olga Dolzhenkova and production director of the production studio «Antares» Evgeniy Chichurko.
As part of the correspondence stage of the Project Accelerator, team members from Kyrgyzstan studied video lessons and attended online master classes on the main stages of developing a cultural and humanitarian event project, and then completed tasks on the topics covered. After each theoretical block, completed tasks were loaded within the time frame announced by the organizers. After completing all the video lessons and completing intermediate tasks, the «Time of the Best» team issued a project passport and video presentation.
Of the 37 declared teams from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Transnistria, and Tajikistan, 11 teams were selected. Our team entered the full-time stage with the project «Ethno-Festival of the Peoples of Russia in Kyrgyzstan «Cultural Bridge»», the purpose of which is organization and holding of an ethno-festival, including master classes, a fair and concert performances in three areas: «Folk art», «Applied arts» and «Gastronomy».
As part of the face-to-face stage, a series of master classes and business games will take place, during which participants will finalize and present their project initiatives to the jury. Based on the results of the presentation, 3 – winning teams will be determined that will receive assistance in implementing their projects in 2024.
Project accelerator for young compatriots abroad – this is a comprehensive program organized by the Department of External Economic and International Relations of the city of Moscow and the State Autonomous Institution of Moscow «Center for Humanitarian and Business Cooperation with Compatriots Abroad – Moscow House of Compatriots».
The main goals and objectives of the Project Accelerator – strengthening ties between Moscow and young compatriots living abroad and creating a communication platform for exchanging experience between participants of the Project Accelerator, promoting their further development and disseminating best practices in the social activities of young compatriots.
