KRSU staff took part in the interuniversity conference «The role of the SCO in promoting sustainable development»
Employees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part and made presentations at the interuniversity scientific and practical conference «The role of the SCO in promoting sustainable development: potential for cooperation and youth initiatives».
The event aimed to discuss current issues of sustainable development, strengthen scientific and humanitarian cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and increase youth participation in international education and research initiatives.
Representatives of universities, scientific institutions and the diplomatic corps took part in the conference. Among the guests of honor —
• Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic Liu Jiangping
• Zhong Yibei, Third Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic,
• Cheng Bowen, attaché of the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
KRSU employees presented reports on the prospects for academic interaction between the SCO member countries, the development of interuniversity scientific dialogue, as well as the involvement of student youth in projects focused on sustainable development goals.
KRSU continues to actively develop international partnerships, advocating for strengthening the role of universities as centers of intellectual and humanitarian dialogue in the SCO space.
