The grand opening of the sports ground, renovated after reconstruction, took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the basis of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. Students, university management, deans of faculties and representatives of the sports club took part in the event.The symbolic launch of the object was marked by a ribbon cutting carried out by the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov. Addressing the participants, he emphasized that the development of sports infrastructure is part of systemic changes at the university.«This year there will be another whole sports complex. Just like new clubs, new audiences, new laboratories. It is important for us to create conditions so that you feel comfortable studying and studying», - noted the rector.According to him, in the near future it is planned to create an indoor gym with training equipment at this site. In parallel, the university continues to work on updating classrooms and infrastructure.The rector paid special attention to the sporting achievements of university students.«You are great guys, because this year the university performed well at the Universiade. The victories of each of you and your coaches are the result of systematic work. In the near future, an order will be signed on financial incentives for both the coaching staff and students who took prizes», emphasized Sergei Volkov.He also noted the importance of creating a healthy lifestyle among young people.«I would really like you to think about your future, about your health. Such projects are aimed at creating the right habits», the rector added.The opening of the sports ground, updated after reconstruction, became part of a comprehensive work to develop the university environment, aimed at creating modern conditions for learning, scientific activity and active student life.
