Student teams, exchanges and practice: universities in Kyrgyzstan are expanding cooperation with the Ural region

A meeting was held between the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the heads of universities in Kyrgyzstan with the Minister of Youth of the Chelyabinsk Region Yuri Boldyrev. The parties discussed the development of student teams, youth employment, student exchanges and new formats of interaction between universities in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.Yuri Boldyrev presented the experience of the Chelyabinsk region in the field of youth policy and work with universities. Particular attention was paid to the role of universities in the socialization of students, their involvement in public life and the creation of opportunities for gaining practical experience.One of the key topics was the development of student teams. Heads of Kyrgyz universities spoke about existing construction, medical and other areas. The parties considered the possibilities of expanding cooperation with universities in the Ural region and organizing employment for students during the holidays. For this, the necessary organizational and regulatory mechanisms need to be worked out.Among the promising study programs are also joint student competitions, educational and cultural events that promote the exchange of experience and the development of direct ties between the youth of the two countries.Sergey Volkov invited representatives of universities in Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation to take part in a major educational forum and exhibition, which will be held on October 1–2. The main venue for the event will be KRSU. About 35 Russian universities are expected to participate. The forum will allow you to establish new partnerships and discuss specific joint projects.The meeting participants expressed interest in developing student exchanges and teams, expanding opportunities for youth work practice and strengthening interaction between universities in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
