KRSU student Erlan Kolbaev won bronze at the Open International Internet Olympiad

Student of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU Erlan Kolbaev successfully performed in the Superfinal of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in Mathematics. The competition took place at the branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Tashkent).

The team, which included 4 students (representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan), won bronze in the team championship.

The future winner was prepared for the Olympiad by Kubat Karabakirov, associate professor of the department of higher mathematics at KRSU.

According to Erlan, the tasks within the Olympiad turned out to be difficult, but the team was ready for this.

– We organized ourselves in groups of two. We solved problems in pairs, then discussed the results obtained and prepared the final answer.

When the results of the Olympiad were announced, – was incredibly happy. Participation in such competitions allows you to visit other universities, compare student life in different countries, and meet new people. Certificates from Open International Internet Olympiads carry weight when entering foreign universities and even when applying for a job.
