Student KRSU — winner of the Youth Chess Championship

From 1 to 3 March 2026, the Youth Chess Championship among boys under 18 was held in Bishkek, bringing together the strongest young athletes of the capital.According to the results of the tournament competition, KRSU student Elkhan Zhanybekov (PGS group 2-25) took 3rd place, demonstrating confident play, strategic thinking and a high level of preparation.Thanks to this result, Elkhan qualified for the International Tournament, which will be held in early April in the city of Shymkent (Republic of Kazakhstan).
