Philology students KRSU took part in a master class from Samara teachers
On September 22, the Russian Language Department KRSU organized a meeting of philology students of the Faculty of Humanities with teachers from Samara State Technological University.
The delegation from Russia was headed by the head. Department of Pedagogy, Intercultural Communication and Russian as a Foreign Language, Professor Yulia Lopukhova.
SSTU teachers presented the project «Multinational Samara Land: Traditions by word of mouth, or the Spiritual Heritage of Fairy Tales». It is aimed at everyone interested in the Russian language and multinational Russian culture and is held in the form of an interactive literary stagecoach.
Samara teachers conducted a master class for 1st and 2nd year philologists with presentations on methods of teaching the Russian language to young children based on the material of a Russian fairy tale «Teremok» and a Chuvash fairy tale «Fox-dancer».
All students were involved in the work: they answered questions from teachers, expressed their opinions on the methodology for presenting the material, discussed speech exercises for students and the possibilities of fairy tales as material for getting to know the culture of different peoples.
At the end of the master class, guests and teachers of the Russian language department discussed the possibilities of working together on new projects in the field of the Russian language and its interaction with regional cultures.
