FMO students – the best at the international coworking forum
On May 7, a ceremonial presentation of certificates and memorable gifts to participants of the international coworking forum «Mediation» took place at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
All participants received certificates from the Center for Geopolitical Research «Berlek-Unity», and the best students of the forum (A. Medetov and Ch. Dobulbekova, KRSU) were awarded digital bracelets from the Center for Geopolitical Research, whose representatives expressed gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of KRSU S. Usmanov and the senior lecturer of the Department «International Relations» Ch. Kashkaraeva for assistance in organizing the educational process within the framework of the advanced training program «International Youth Coworking «Mediatoria» for youth of Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan».
From December 9, 2020 to April 2021, the team of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the International Youth Online Coworking Forum «Bishkek Mediation Laboratory». The organizers of this project were the Center for Geopolitical Research «Berlek-Unity» (Ufa, Russian Federation), the Presidential Grants Fund of the Russian Federation and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The international forum started in Bishkek.
The goal of the project is to develop practical skills and competencies in student youth for mediative resolution of social conflicts, as well as ideas about social protest in modern conditions.
From Kyrgyzstan, 5 Bishkek universities took part in the work of the International Youth Online Coworking Forum «Bishkek Mediation Laboratory»:

▲ Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University;
▲ Kyrgyz State Law University;
▲ Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn;

The KRSU team included students of the Department «International Relations» of the FMO: Olga Gritsaenko (3rd year), Aliya Kimsanova (3rd year), Azat Medetov (3rd year), Cholpon Dobulbekova (3rd year), Damir Asanakunov (4th year), Akylay Zhenishbek (4th year).
Students participating in the forum listened to a series of intensive lectures on social protest issues, and then began practical classes. Participants simulated various conflict situations, ranging from interpersonal conflicts to interstate disputes.
The moderators of the Center for Geopolitical Research decided to award Forum participants with advanced training certificates in the amount of 174 academic hours, which give them the opportunity to act as experts in social mediation in the future.
The CGI expert group identified the three best students who received memorable gifts. Among them are two students of the FMO KRSU – Azat Medetov (group MO-3-18) and Cholpon Dobulbekova (group MO-2-18).
