KRSU students and staff participated in the international forum «CYBERTOR – 2026»

On April 23, 2026, students and staff of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the international forum «CYBERTOR – 2026», dedicated to current issues of cybersecurity and combating cybercrime.The forum brought together representatives of government agencies, the expert community, educational organizations and business.The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulan Niyazbekov, representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as partner organizations addressed the participants with welcoming words.The forum featured presentations by leading experts in the fields of cybersecurity, law and digital technologies. Issues of combating cyber fraud, increasing financial literacy, ensuring security in the digital environment, as well as the psychological aspects of cybercrime were discussed. Special attention was paid to international experience and modern challenges in the field of information and communication technologies.The practical part of the forum included a panel discussion with government representatives on coordinating actions in the fight against cybercrime, as well as a demonstration of modern technologies, including deepfake solutions.The participation of KRSU students and staff in such events helps expand professional competencies, increase the level of legal and digital literacy, as well as strengthen the interaction of the university with relevant government and expert structures.
