KRSU students at the International Seminar of the CIS Countries on the Preservation of Historical Memory
Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University participate in the International Seminar «Memory and Lessons of the Second World War», which takes place in Moscow. The event brings together young people from Commonwealth countries to study history, exchange experiences and work together on projects.
During the day, participants already managed to visit the Victory Museum, where they took tours of key exhibitions «The Path to Victory» and «The Feat of the People». They took part in lectures and practical classes dedicated to personal and family stories related to the Great Patriotic War. The day ended with an intercultural evening, where young people from the CIS countries presented their cultural traditions.
Ahead of the children is a rich educational program: work with the chronology of the Second World War, lectures by experts on countering the falsification of history, and the formation of a conceptual apparatus for research work.
A sightseeing tour of Moscow, a visit to the museum complex «Road of Memory» and the Main Church of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, workshops for the preservation of historical memory and documentary screenings are planned.
Students will also take part in presentations of organizations working in the field of patriotic education, develop joint projects and present the results of the seminar at the final defense.
KRSU continues to develop international cooperation and contributes to strengthening the common historical values of the CIS countries.
