KRSU students helped a burnt library in Dzumgal

February 14 – is International Book Giving Day. On this day, people from all over the world share book gifts with friends, family and even strangers. They also donate books to libraries, orphanages, schools and charities.

An action was organized in honor of this day at the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU). Students and teachers collected books to restore the collection of the library that burned down in Dzumgal. This is a remarkable example of how society can come together to help restore cultural heritage and provide access to knowledge through books.
