KRSU students advanced to the next stage of the international competition «CyberDrom-2026»

The Red Flag team, consisting of 4th year students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, successfully passed the semi-final stage of the international competition «CyberDrom-2026» — «Aviation work».During the stage, participants completed practical tasks on controlling and programming unmanned aerial vehicles. The teams needed to solve real-world engineering problems: organize logistics delivery of cargo using drones, monitor objects, and demonstrate flight controller programming skills for flight automation.The KRSU team completed the competition task on March 2. Prior to this, participants underwent a series of training lectures and webinars on unmanned technologies and ALS programming.The stage was attended by more than 570 participants from different countries, united into 72 teams. Based on the results of the tests, the best teams received the right to continue the fight and advance to the next stage of the competition.The Red Flag team was created this academic year on the basis of the KRSU laboratory of robotics and unmanned transport technologies under the leadership of Yuri Furmanov.«CyberDrom» — an international technology project under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, aimed at developing engineering competencies in the field of unmanned systems and robotics. The participants will face the next stage of the competition and preparation for the grand final.
