KRSU students tested their knowledge of digital security
KRSU students took part in the Eurasian dictation on digital security. The university has become one of the venues for the international event.Participants analyzed real and near-real situations that can be encountered in the digital space: phishing links, account and personal data theft, fraudulent calls and messages, deepfakes, risks in online shopping and quick money schemes.Special attention was paid to threats relevant to young people, including methods for recognizing manipulation and protecting personal data.The Eurasian dictation takes place online and offline and brings together about 50 thousand participants from Russia and Eurasian countries. Organizer – ANO «Eurasia», the event is held within the framework of the federal project «Vaccination against fraudsters».Participation in the dictation allowed students not only to test their knowledge, but also to better understand modern digital fraud schemes and ways to protect themselves from them.
