KRSU students became diploma winners of the Olympiad dedicated to World Health Day
On April 8, an interuniversity Olympiad in medicine in English was held, dedicated to World Health Day «World Health Day». The organizers were the Department of Morphological Disciplines and OZ GSOM of ADAM University.
Goals of the Olympiad:
1. Formation of students' skills and abilities in practical medicine.
2. Students' use of acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in the analysis of clinical cases.
3. Unlocking the leadership and creative qualities of students.
4. Strengthening interuniversity ties.
14 teams from the following medical universities took part in the creative competition: ADAM, MUK, KRSU, KSMA, Asian Medical Institute, Ala-Too International University, Euro-Asian Medical University, International Medical University, Bishkek International Medical Institute, Altamimi Bachelor Clinical University, Salymbekov University.
The Olympiad included the following competitions:
1. «Health Day» – homework: a story about the team of participants, the role of health in the life of each person, protecting the health of society, and the need to prevent diseases.
2. «Image Master» – identification of analysis abilities, data interpretation based on clinical case studies.
3. «Ecg-Master» – testing the participant's ability to diagnose heart disease using case tasks.
4. «PathoLogik» – competition for working with drugs based on clinical case tasks.
5. «NeuroFan» – testing participants' ability to compare clinical symptoms and morphological data (clinical case studies).
3 teams competed from the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU named after B. Yeltsin. 5th year foreign students were included in two teams, and they were prepared for the Olympiad by teachers from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

In addition, 4 fifth-year students studying in pharmacology and clinical pharmacology earned 2 diplomas of the second and the same number – of the third degree, which is the merit of themselves and representatives of this department.
