KRSU students became winners of the festival-competition «St. Petersburg – Bishkek. Bridge of Friendship»

On November 5, an award ceremony for the winners and participants took place at the State National Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov festival-competition «St. Petersburg – Bishkek. Bridge of Friendship», organized by the Union of Compatriots in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, the Russian House in Bishkek, the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity KRSU named after B. Yeltsin.

The festival program included three competitions: an essay «Why do I want to walk around St. Petersburg?», a drawing «Portraits of St. Petersburg» and a poetry competition. In total, more than 200 applications were received from participants.

It is gratifying to note that the prizes in the essay competition were won by students of the Faculty of Humanities of KRSU – creative studio members «Writing workshop "Echo of Atlantis"» Batyr Koichuev (1st place) and Anzhelika Ivanskaya (2nd place).

The guest of honor of the ceremony, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg Sergei Markov presented prizes and gifts to the winners, and the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Zulharneev presented books to the winners. The holiday was decorated with a performance performed by young artists of the choreographic ensemble «Almaz».
