KRSU students became participants in the Cinema Laboratory in Bishkek

An educational intensive course «Cinema Laboratory» was held in Bishkek, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding director Stanislav Govorukhin. The participants were students of KRSU.The program was implemented within the framework of the «Kinopanorama» project and united young filmmakers from Kyrgyzstan.Laboratory participants worked to rethink the master’s creative heritage. The focus was not only on studying his films, but also on creating his own interpretations. The teams developed scripts and shot short films inspired by the director's style.The intensive program combined theoretical and practical classes. In the first days, participants got acquainted with the key features of Stanislav Govorukhin’s film language, discussed modern trends in cinema and formed creative teams.Particular attention was paid to the practical part. Participants went through all stages of film creation — from the idea to the filming process. The classes covered the basics of editing, acting and teamwork.In the final phase, the teams worked on editing the footage. The final works were presented on social networks, where viewers were able to see the author’s reading of the classic film heritage.
