Students of the medical department KRSU helped the pupils of the orphanage in Orlovka

May 9, 1st-4th year students of the KRSU medical faculty under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Histology, Embryology, Cytology E.V. Sharova visited the orphanage in the town of Orlovka.

The trip was organized by 4th year dental students Anastasia Sivirinova and Nursultan Jeenbekov.

Our doctors showed the children of the orphanage a presentation on the topic «What is COVID-19?» and they talked about preventive measures for diseases such as nonspecific bilateral pneumonia, influenza and ARVI.

The students collected 8,400 catfish, with which the children purchased food, clothing, toys and tableware for the orphanage. Employees of the medical center «AlkOSTOP» donated soap and other hygiene products to orphanages.

Pupils of the orphanage took part in numerous games and competitions («Dodgeball», «Best Athlete», a quiz dedicated to Victory Day), and also listened to songs of the war years with a guitar.
