Medical students discussed current issues in fundamental, clinical and experimental histology
On November 13, at the Department of Histology, Embryology, Cytology of KRSU, a round table «Current issues of fundamental, clinical and experimental histology» was held, dedicated to Science Day and the significant anniversary – 75th anniversary of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU, Professor Anes Zarifyan.
The staff of the department, headed by its head, associate professor O.P. Kalugina devotes a lot of time to students and generously passes on her knowledge and experience to them. Classes in a histology club form responsibility in children, the ability to think professionally, plan scientific activities, analyze and summarize research results, write abstracts and articles, and speak to an audience.
Round table participants – students, deputy dean of the Faculty of Medicine for medical work, associate professor R.R. Karaeva, senior curator T.V. Kozhinova, Associate Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operational Surgery A.A. Beisembayev – heard 6 reports. Two of them – «Steps of preparing histological preparations» (K. Boobekova) and «Methods of coloring micropreparations» (B. Ryazantsev (was devoted to the formation of practical skills in future doctors within the framework of professional competencies. Scientific novelty was present in the works «On the role of the epithelium of the nasal mucosa in the development of allergies» (A. Shakirova), «The Tale of Grandma Spleen» (B. Turdumamatov) and «Mast cell» (L. Gulbuddin). Historical facts about the discovery of phagocytosis and the difficult path of the scientist were reflected in the message of A. Dzhumaeva «Mechnikovskaya Christmas tree». All students received certificates of merit for their performance.

– The conference left a sea of positive emotions. It was very interesting and informative, I learned a lot of new information. I hope that in the future I will take part in similar events more than once!

–I was pleased that the participating students thoroughly prepared for the speech and chose current topics for messages. The papers were deeply cognitive in nature and left a sense of scientific satisfaction after the presentation.
