Students from universities in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation discussed issues of the functioning of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan
On November 23, an interuniversity student conference «Functioning of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan: cultural and linguistic contacts and teaching practice» was held in the main building of KRSU.
The purpose of the event is – to intensify the research activity of young people and expand scientific and educational contacts among students.
Students and undergraduates from universities took part in the conference: KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin, KNU named after. Zh. Balasagyn, KSU named after. AND. Arabaeva, BSU named after. K. Karasayeva, KTU «Manas» (Bishkek), Samara State Technical University (RF) – a total of 41 participants.
In the first section «Modern approaches to describing the structure, semantics and functions of the Russian language and issues of Russian philology», the speakers presented scientific reports on the language of mass communication, Internet communication, the language of a work of art, on the problems of vocabulary, lexicography and phraseology, on verbalization concepts and the content of symbols in folklore, color designations in the text, word formation in the language of the specialty, etc.
Participants in the second section «Research of the Russian language in comparative, linguoculturological and sociolinguistic aspects and methods of teaching the Russian language in the conditions of bilingualism and digitalization» made reports on the results of comparing cognitive semantics in Russian, Kyrgyz, Turkish and English (based on phraseology and paremiology), discussed issues technologies and teaching techniques, aspects of public speaking, results of sociolinguistic research in various areas of communication, etc.
The conference participants showed mutual interest in the speakers' speeches. All speakers presented with certificates of participation in the conference. In addition, some performances were awarded certificates in two categories:
