The training center of the State Financial Intelligence Service and KRSU signed a cooperation agreement
The Training Center of the State Financial Intelligence Service (UC GSFR) under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University signed an Agreement on Cooperation at the 40th Plenary Meeting of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism. The ceremony took place in Bishkek.
This Agreement is aimed at strengthening partnerships and developing joint initiatives aimed at increasing financial literacy among the population of the Kyrgyz Republic, popularizing financial security issues and developing skills among young people to reduce the risks of involvement in dubious banking transactions.
«KRSU is our close partner, which is confirmed by close ties within the International Network Institute in the field of combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism», — noted the director of the State Financial Markets Service Lira Omurbekova. «We are pleased to have the opportunity to strengthen this cooperation and implement joint educational projects».
The signing ceremony of the Agreement was attended by the Chairman of the EAG, Director of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring of the Russian Federation Yuri Anatolyevich Chikhanchin, as well as representatives of delegations of the EAG member states. This event was an important step in the development of educational programs aimed at combating the financing of terrorist activities and money laundering.
The signing of the Agreement underlined the importance of international cooperation in the field of financial security and made a significant contribution to the training of competent professionals capable of effectively countering financial crime.
