The Academic Council of KRSU, held on August 29 of this year, reviewed the results of the past and determined the tasks for the 2023-2024 academic year. Acting rector German Lotsev in his report focused on the problems of improving the quality of educational and scientific activities at the university. He spoke about the measures taken recently by management to improve the organizational structure of the university, spend money efficiently, increase the exemplary nature of students in the educational process and create comfortable conditions for them to study and live.
In particular, in the new academic year, nonresident students will be provided with a free dormitory, and those who achieve high academic results, prove themselves in science and public life of the university will be able to apply for incentive payments in the amount of 10 to 15 thousand som. In this regard, the Academic Council approved a number of Regulations that will become the basis for implementing the announced innovations.
There will be changes in the staffing table of the university: there will be officials who will deal with youth issues, and the KRSU Publishing House will be created. At the same time, some structures that turned out to be ineffective will be abolished.
As German Lotsev noted, this is only start for the university to reach a new level of its development.
