Deepened knowledge!
From October 18 to November 2, 2022, the Institute of Russian Language named after A. Orusbaev KRSU in partnership with the Baltic Federal University. AND. Kanta (Kaliningrad) conducted an online advanced training program «New educational technologies in Russian studies».
Seven leading scientists from the Baltic Federal University acted as lecturers. AND. Kanta: Professor N. Babenko, associate professors A. Chernyakov, N. Pisar, L. Ovchinnikova, O. Vertinskaya, I. Lukyanenko, Advisor to the Rector on Russian Language Issues and Development of Humanitarian Education T. Tsvigun.
During lectures and master classes, a discussion of modern methodological developments in the field of teaching the Russian language took place, Russian and Kyrgyz Russian teachers exchanged experiences, and course participants deepened their knowledge in the field of modern methods of teaching the Russian language.
The following main thematic issues were addressed in this refresher training activity:
- Language game and online communication forms;
- Technology for creating web quests using Microsoft PowerPoint and Google sites;
- Gamification in teaching Russian at an early stage;
- Intermediality in the service of philological analysis of literary text;
- Modern written communication vs. Spelling;
- New technologies in spelling training. Workshop: modern illustrative material for basic spelling topics using Internet memes as an example;
- Russian language through the prism of Olympiad tasks in the Russian language;
- Educational media resources of IKBFU. AND. Kanta: «Living phraseology», «Russian language laboratory», «Living literature».
More than 140 teachers of secondary schools, teachers and methodologists of universities from all regions of Kyrgyzstan took an active part in the advanced training program, spoke warmly and discussed «surgent» topics during classes, teachers of secondary schools noted the difficulties of teaching the Russian language in schools associated with lack of hours.
The program participants addressed special gratitude to the Institute of Russian Language named after A. Orusbaev (KRSU).
