We are strengthening ties with the Belarusian-Russian University

On November 14, in the resource center of the main building, a dialogue between KRSU employees and scientists and production workers of the Belarusian-Russian University took place in a video conference format. The parties expressed hope for establishing close cooperation in science and education.

KRSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Salavat Usmanov made a number of proposals for advanced training of teaching staff, joint publication of textbooks and teaching aids, use of KRSU and BRU library collections, as well as for the introduction of network training for students.

Experts considered issues of cooperation in the field of testing steel ropes for the mining industry, elevators for high-rise buildings and structures, as well as cable-chair roads of ski resorts.

KRSU scientists proposed conducting joint scientific research in the field of mechanics of destruction of mountain ranges and cleaning pipelines from thermal power plant ash.

The issue of creating a branch of the Belarusian-Russian University «Center for Certification and Testing of Steel Ropes» at KRSU has been previously considered.
